The mission of International CHRIE, has also been adopted by the Florida-Caribbean chapter. Our mission is to advance quality education through proactive professional development, research, coalitions and networks for all of our members and constituencies.
CHRIE believes in:

-- continuous development of individuals
-- education as the driver of quality -- excellence in service

-- proactive change

Florida-Caribbean CHRIE meets at least twice per year. September is in Orlando, Florida at the Rosen College of the University of Central Florida in conjunction with Florida Restaurant Association trade show. The fall meeting includes an all day Friday teaching and learning program to develop high school and community educators in hospitality and tourism education. Spring business meetings allow hospitality professors and educators of member schools to explore industry leadership with tours and lectures by professional organizations and corporations throughout the State of Florida and the Caribbean Islands.
